Microwave Oatmeal

I’m trying to stay healthy, so I’ve come to enjoy oatmeal (with toppings). I often make it on Sunday, so it’s ready to go later in the week. This makes 2-3 servings, so you can double it if you don’t mind eating it every day.

Personally, I add cinnamon, and a spoon of both brown sugar and peanut butter.

Microwave Oatmeal

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add 2 cups water to a microwave-safe container (~4 cups so it won't overflow)
  • Microwave for 4 minutes
  • Add 1 cup oats to the container and cover for 15 minutes
  • It should look like it's absorbed most of the water
